my love for fitz & the tantrums is no secret. i am an avid documenter of their shows, and a dedicated word-spreader about the greatness of their music. i can’t remember a time when i’ve been such a “fan girl/photographer” about a new band. something about their universally appealing indie soul pop makes them easy to like, no matter what kind of music you’re into. they opened for the heavy (photo above) on thursday night at the hammer, and it was another dance-driven night to remember. slide show at buzz bands.
